GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ACCOMMODATION IN “STONEHENGE” HOTEL COMPLEX

 

Welcome to “Stonehenge” hotel Complex in Tsaghkadzor (hereinafter referred to as Hotel).

These rules and conditions (hereinafter referred to as Rules), define the rules and conditions of accommodation in the Hotel, which are compulsory for all guests of the Hotel.

 

  1. BOOKING CONDITIONS

1.1.      The rooms can be booked in the following ways;

  • At the Hotel’s front-desk for walk-in customers,
  • Via the website of the Hotel,
  • By way of calling or emailing the Hotel,
  • Via the following websites: Booking.com, Tripadvisor.com, Expedia.com Ostrovok.ru bestHotels.es, Biglemon.am.

1.2.      After submitting the reservation, the Hotel will send a confirmation of your reservation to the e-mail address supplied by you.

1.3.      In case of reservation of up to 3 rooms, the cost of the 1st night’s stay will be levied as an advance payment[1] 48 hours prior to the arrival of the guest; the rest of the amount due will be levied at the check-in upon arrival of the guest. If the reservation is done within 48 hours before arrival, then the advance payment is levied at the moment of reservation.

1.4.      In case of reservation of up to 4 rooms and more, provided the number of nights does not exceed 3, the amount of 1 night of the reserved rooms is levied as an advance payment 30 days before the arrival of guest; the rest of amount due is being charged after the arrival during the check-in. If the reservation is done within the 30 days before the arrival, then the advance payment is levied at the moment of reservation.

1.5.      In case of reservation up to 4 rooms and more provided the number of nights comprises 4 and more, the 40% of the total cost of the reserved rooms is levied as an advance payment 30 days before the arrival of the guest; the rest of the amount is being charged after the arrival during the check-in. If the reservation is done within 30 days before the arrival, then the advance payment is levied at the moment of reservation.

1.6.      The guest is entitled to pay the cost of entire stay at the moment of reservation. In that case, should the guest cancel the reservation, irrespective of time this cancelation is made, the amount paid by the guest will not be refunded.

1.7.      In case of making the reservation at the reception desk of the Hotel in person, the Hotel is entitled to freeze the cost of the reserved nights from the funds available on the guest’s card.

1.8.      If the guest wants mini bar service, then the Hotel is entitled to freeze the cost of mini bar service from the funds available on the guest’s card.

1.9.      If necessary, the Hotel levies the amount payable by the guest from the frozen funds, in the absence of such a necessity, the frozen funds are unfrozen.

 

  1. BOOKING CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

2.1.      If up to 3 rooms are reserved, the reservation can be canceled or changed without penalty 48 hours before the guest’s arrival, after which the cost of first night will be charged as a penalty.

2.2.      In case of reservation up to 4 rooms and more, provided the number of nights does not exceed 3, the reservation can be canceled or amended without penalty 30 days before the guests’ arrival. In case of a failure to meet this deadline, the 40% of the total cost of the reserved rooms will be levied as a penalty.

2.3.      In case of reservation up to 4 rooms and more, provided the number of nights is 4 and more, the reservation can be canceled or amended without penalty 30 days before the guests’ arrival. In case of a failure to meet this deadline, the rate of a 1 night of the reserved rooms will be levied as a penalty.

2.4.      If the entire stay is paid at the time of reservation, the amount paid in advance is not refundable should the guest cancel the reservation, irrespective of time the cancelation is made.

2.5. In case of invalid credit cards, the Hotel is entitled to demand a valid credit card and, cancel the reservation if no valid credit card is provided following the 24 hours of the request made by the Hotel.

 

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

3.1.      The identity of the guest is confirmed according to the presented document, that is the passport or an ID card.

3.2.      The guest is charged per night.

3.3.      The payments are made either in cash upon arrival exclusively in Armenian Drams, or via credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Maestro, Arca, American Express). The bank wire transfer is also possible.

3.4.      Check-in time is 14:00 on the day of arrival and check-out time is 12:00 on the day of departure.

3.5.      The guest must show-up at the Hotel by 12:00 following the night paid for, otherwise, should it be impossible to contact the guest, the reservation will be canceled.

3.6.      The early check-in is possible pending the room availability; in case of check-in before 07:00, the price of one night will be levied according to the current tariff; in case of check-in after 07:00, the 50% of the cost of one night set as per the current tariff and the price of the breakfast, if the guest wishes to have breakfast, will be charged to the guest.

3.7.      The late check- is possible pending the room availability and based on a prior arrangement with the Hotel — the guest should request for late check-out not later than 12:00; in case of departure before 19:00, 50% of the price of one night will be levied according to the current tariff in case of departure after 19:00, the price per night determined as per the current tariff will be charged to the guest.

3.8.      If the guest wishes to extend the period of stay at the Hotel beyond the reserved date, s/he must inform the reception staff on the initial departure date not later than 10:00. Extension of stay without prior reservation would depend on the rooms’ availability.

3.9.      In case of early arrival, the guest can leave the baggage in the reception if there were no other arrangements made with the Hotel.

3.10.    In case of using room phone, the phone call fee will be levied along with the room rate.

3.11.    The rooms are for maximum 2 guests, 0-5 years old children in the Hotel stay with their parents in the same room without payment, children over 5 years old or a 3rd  guest can stay in the room for a fee.

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND RIGHTS OF THE GUEST

4.1.      The Guest is obliged:

4.1.1.   To pay for the services provided by the Hotel on time and in the specified amount.

4.1.2.   Do not damage the furniture and equipment in the rooms, treat the property and equipment provided for temporary use thriftily, and in case of damage or loss, to compensate for its value, or cover the repair costs.

4.1.3.   Don’t make a noise and don’t disturb the peace of other guests (residents), make sure that their behavior does not disturb other guests.

4.1.4.   To maintain fire-fighting safety rules,

4.1.5.   When leaving the room, turn off the water tap, close the windows, turn off the equipment, do not leave money, jewelry and valuable things on the table and in the closets,

4.1.6.   Keep the room door closed at all times.

4.1.7.   When having additional guests in the room (in case of using overnight, breakfast or dinner) to make a prior arrangement with the Hotel,

4.1.8.   In case of any kind of damage, notify the reception staff immediately,

4.1.9.   To provide his room to a third person only with the consent of the Hotel.

4.2.      STRICTLY FORBIDDEN

4.2.1.   To smoke (tobacco, cigarette, including e-cigarette, hookah and other) in the territory of the Hotel, including in the room, in case of violation of this requirement, a penalty of AMD 50,000 (fifty thousand Armenian Drams) may be applied.

4.2.2.   To move the things in the room or move them to another place, in case of violation of this requirement, a penalty of AMD 50,000 (fifty thousand Armenian Drams) may be applied.

4.2.3.   Touch the fire extinguishers if it is not required,

4.2.4.   To invite third persons to the room with the purpose of using room conveniences and facilities. For security reasons, a foreign third person must register at the reception before entering the room.

4.2.5.   To up keep the overall appearance of the Hotel, hang any item from the windows or balcony railings of the Hotel room.

4.2.6.   The placement of other things in the rooms of Hotel and on the building,

4.2.7.   To play, organize gambling games in corridors or rooms or engage in any other behavior contrary to public morals,

4.2.8.   To use the room or lobby as an office,

4.2.9.   To bring illegal items, exotic plants or animals into the Hotel premises,

4.2.10. To keep, sell, prepare or use drugs and/or psychoactive substances in the Hotel premises,

4.2.11. To take the food served at breakfast and dinner to the room,

4.2.12. To keep flammable materials and weapons in the room;

4.2.13. To use self-made electric heating equipment.

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND RIGHTS OF HOTEL

5.1.      The Hotel is entitled to:

5.1.1.   In order to ensure the safety and regulation in the Hotel, to refuse a provision of the Hotel’s services to the guest, or require the guest already using the Hotel’s services to leave the Hotel by way of early termination of rendering of the services without the refund of the amount paid, or compensation to the guest, for failing to obey any of the demands as defined by the Rules, and/or for breaching, engaging in illegal or offensive conduct,

5.1.2.   If the room becomes non-suitable for accommodation for any reason, to replace it with a room with equivalent conditions or to return the advance payment received for the actual unoccupied days to the guest, except in cases of force majeure.

5.2.      Hotel is obliged to:

5.2.1.   Provide the services in a proper quality and specified terms,

5.2.2.   Do not publish any personal information about the guest without his written consent, except for cases defined by law,

5.2.3.   Hand over the room to the guest in a proper condition with the property, clean and well-arranged,

5.2.4.   Do not enter the room during the guest’s stay, do not disturb or hinder the guest(s), except if there is a complaint from other guests or such access is due to the neutralization of a threat to people’s life and health, or is necessary to maintain the cleanliness or safety of the room.

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITY OF PARTIES

6.1.      Guests bear responsibility for property and equipment provided for their temporary use and in case of damage or loss, they are obliged to compensate its value or cover the costs of repair.

6.2.      Guests bear responsibility for not washable stains, wear and tear of linen or towels, as well as its damage and loss.

6.3.      Guests bear responsibility for the keys of room given to them.

6.4.      Should there arise any type of responsibility as defined by the Rules, upon the request of the Hotel, the Guest is obliged to pay a penalty and/or to eliminate all defects at his/her own expense, as well as to compensate the total damages incurred by the Hotel.

6.5.      Should there arise any type of responsibility as defined by the Rules, the calculation of the damage to be compensated to the Hotel is the sole prerogative of the Hotel.

6.6.      The Hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to the Guest’s room, closet or any other part of the Hotel for any reason, including theft of any valuable thing, jewelry, money or other material assets.

6.7.      The Hotel is not responsible for the safety of the vehicle parked on the Hotel’s premises.

6.8.      Parties are set free from the partial or full non-fulfillment of the liabilities, if liabilities are not fulfilled as a result of irresistible force, (such events are earthquake, flood, fire, war, declaration of military or emergency situation, political or civil agitations, strikes, stop of the work of communication means, terrorist acts, deeds of state authorities, epidemic situations and so on), which obstacle the fulfillment of the liabilities. The Party in such situations must inform the other Party as soon as possible about the presence of force majeure.

6.9.      The payment of the fine is not an obstacle for the termination of the provision of services by the Hotel. Also, termination of services by the Hotel does not release the guest from the obligation to pay the fine.

6.10.    Items left by the guest, according to the request of the guest, will be mailed to any address specified by the guest at the guest’s own expense. In the absence of special orders, the Hotel will keep such items for 30 days and then will donate them to third persons for charitable purposes.

 

  1. ANIMALS ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS

7.1.      Pets can stay with the guest in the Hotel, cats or dogs of decorative breeds CANNOT EXCEED weighing up to 6 kg, as well as service dogs and guide dogs (hereinafter referred to as “Animals”).

7.2.      The guest must inform the Hotel administration of his intention to live with a pet in advance of the reservation, providing information about the breed, age, size, weight and other special characteristics of the pet.

7.3.      Staying with animals is allowed in the presence of an appropriate veterinary passport containing information about the animal and its owner, as well as information about necessary vaccinations, including vaccinations against rabies must have been given no less than 30 days and no more than 12 months ago.

7.4.      In case of accommodation with an animal, a separate charge for the animal is established according to the current price list.

7.5.      The guest is obliged to have a special container (cage) for the animal, a feeding dish, a special tray for the natural needs.

7.6.      The guest is obliged to move the animals in the Hotel area in a container or on a leash.

7.7.      The animal is allowed to be kept in a container in the room.  It is strictly forbidden to leave the animal in the room without supervision.

7.8.      It is forbidden to feed and give water to the animal from dishes belonging to Hotel.

7.9.      It is forbidden to wash or bathe the animal in the Hotel’s shower room or bathroom, use towels or bedding.

7.10.    The guest is responsible for any damage caused by the animal to the Hotel or to a third person and the guest undertakes to compensate the damage caused to the Hotel or a third person in full, including the damage caused to health.

7.11.    The Hotel reserves the right at any time to require a guest already using the services to leave the Hotel, terminating the services early without refund or compensation, if the guest’s animal behaves inappropriately, makes noise or disturbs the peace of other guests.

 

  1. FINAL PROVISIONS

8.1.      The rules come into force at the moment of confirmation.

8.2.      The disagreements between the parties are settled down through the negotiation. In case of not reaching to the agreement the disputes are settled through the judicial manner according to RA Legislation.

8.3.      The invalidity of a single provision or part of the rules shall not result in the invalidity of the other provisions or parts thereof.

8.4.      When interpreting the provisions of the rules, the parties, as well as the court, must proceed from the literal meaning of the words and expressions contained therein. In the absence of such clarity, it shall be determined by comparing it with the other terms of the Rules and the full meaning of the Rules.

8.5.      All the other issues which aren’t settled down through the Rules, are settled through RA Civil Code and other legal acts.

8.6.      The rules may be revised from time to time by the Hotel unilaterally and at its sole discretion. A revised version of the Rules will be posted on the Hotel’s website immediately.

8.7.      The rules are made up in Armenian.

[1] The term “night’s cost” referred to in the rules does not include the cost of breakfast. In all cases where a reservation is made by the guest including breakfast, the term “night’s cost” referred to in the Rules shall be understood as the cost of 1 night, which includes the cost of breakfast as well.
